Raised patio area with a wooden balustrade

Raised patio with wooden balustrades, 3 meters wide by 18 meters long, the walls were built using dense block work and facing brick, then the inside of the raised brickwork was backfilled with type 1 limestone sub-base materials.

The type of paving laid was Marshalls Saxon paving 450 X 450MM laid on a full bed of cement and wet appointed.

It took two men four weeks to move over 100 tonnes of rubble of the site, and over 120 tonnes of materials on the site to complete the contract.

Before and after

Raised garden and new Driveway

We gave the front of this property a complete new makeover, We removed the old driveway, path's and garden areas. We replaced the old garden with a new raised garden built using natural island stone and a new turf lawn.

The driveway, path's and steps were installed using Marshalls original tegula driveway setts with edgings to match the block paving.

It took our team approximately four weeks from start to finish to complete this job.

Tiered back garden

This garden was just a waste of space, it was on a steep slope and hard to manage. We tired the garden making four level areas that can be used.

The first thing we did, we built a new 10 m² conservatory then designed the garden around it, the first two levels of the garden were built using old mill brick for the main structure and marshals tegula paving sets for the patio and path, the remaining two levels of the garden were laid to lawn with a reclaimed stone rockery to separate both levels.

To complete this job it took our team approximately two weeks from start to finish.
